Directions for locating Wall Studs
The Detect A Stud product will look for nails or screws that fasten the drywall to the studs. Just move the product along the wall holding the hole end of the rubber strip while moving the magnet up & down in a circular motion next to the wall. The hole in the rubber strip is 16 inches from the magnet center which is the normal distance between studs. When you find a location that the magnet sticks to the wall you can use the strip position by pressing the special rubber strip to the wall vertically. You can also hold the strip sideways to find the next adjoining stud.
Clean the unique rubber with clear water or hand cleaner (rinse after) and it will stick to any flat clean surface. Warning: This is not a toy! Keep out of the reach of young children!
